Greg Frazier assumed the position and duties of Fire Marshal/Division Chief on May 1st 2016. He is originally from Henderson, North Carolina and has over 30 years of experience in the fire service. Chief Frazier began his career with the Henderson, NC Fire Department in December of 1985 as a Firefighter/EMT. He was promoted to Fire Marshal in 1995. He served in that capacity until December of 2000.
In December of 2000 he joined the Office of The Fire Marshal with the Raleigh, NC Fire Department as a Deputy Fire Marshal. During his tenure there he also served in the New Construction Division managing most major construction projects in the city. From 2010 until his retirement from the Raleigh Fire Department Chief Frazier was a 24 hour Shift Fire Marshal assigned to the Operations Division.

-International Fire Code Instructor
-Fire Officer II
-Hazardous Materials Operations
-Certified IAAI NC Fire Investigator
-Member of International Association of Arson Investigators
Chief Frazier has also attended and completed numerous courses at the Nation Fire Academy including: leadership; Incident command; fire investigations principles, fire inspection principles:/building systems and management courses. He has also attended fire protection systems and fire pump inspection courses at Oklahoma State University.
He has been happily married for 16 years.
