LEOSA Retired Officer Firearms Qualification 2022

LEOSA Retired Officer Firearms Qualification will be conducted at the Conway Police Department Firearms Range located at the end of John Doctor Road, Conway SC 29526 (Dirt Road at the end of John Doctor Rd).  We will host one (1) qualification on February 4, 2022.  Range day will be limited to 25 candidates.  Range will open at 0900 and qualifications will begin promptly at 0930.  LEOSA Retired Officer Firearms Qualification will consist of a 50 round course utilizing the SLED standardized Concealed Weapons Permit qualification course.  State Constables will be required to shoot the SCCJA basic course of fire.

Hip worn holsters are required.  Shoulder holsters, inside the waistband holsters, ankle holsters or drawing from the pocket will NOT be permitted.  Holsters with exposed triggers are not permitted.  Body Armor, eye protection, and hearing protection will not be provided.  Eye protection and hearing protection are required.  Qualifications are good for one year and should be completed prior to the expiration date.

All persons interested in attended the 2021 LEOSA Retired Officer Firearms Qualification are required to complete a North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety Retired Law Enforcement Officer Firearms Qualification Application (link below).  All Applications and supporting documents must be returned to the NMBDPS Training Division located at 1015 2nd Avenue South, North Myrtle Beach SC 29582 for review no later than January 14, 2022.  Direct questions to Sgt.
