-- Second (final) reading of an ordinance to set the tax levy for FY 2022 (July 1-June 30) at 45 mils. No property tax increase is proposed for FY 2022. North Myrtle Beach has the lowest property tax rate for a full-service municipality in Horry County, and it is one of the lowest in South Carolina.
-- Second reading of an ordinance to provide for the adoption of the FY 2022 Budget.
-- First reading of an ordinance to annex 0.46 acres on Riverside Drive. The owner petitioned the City of North Myrtle Beach to annex approximately 0.46 acres of property located on Riverside Drive identified by PIN 311-16-04-0013. The petition also reflects the requested City zoning district of Single-Family Residential Low-Density (R-1). The subject area is Residential Suburban on the City’s Future Land Use Map, and the request is consistent with the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
