Registration for parking is underway in North Myrtle Beach for residents and non-resident property owners.
Paid parking will be enforced via license plate recognition. Your vehicle license plate is your permit. Physical decals are no longer effective, except for golf carts. Paid parking hours are from 8 a.m. through 9 p.m.
Golf cart registrations will continue to require a decal to be adhered to the front windshield of the cart. If a golf cart does not have a windshield the decal should be adhered on the front next to the SCDMV permit.
North Myrtle Beach residents and non-resident property owners may register online or in person. Online is recommended to avoid waiting in line.
To register for an online digital parking permit for your vehicle or a decal for your golf cart, use the following link Parking Registration.
Horry County parking registrations for non-residents of North Myrtle Beach are limited to the first 200, on a first come, first serve basis. Registration for Horry County residents will only be online and will begin February 15, 2023, at 10 a.m.
The address to register in person is 904 2nd Avenue North (the old Santee Cooper building). The office is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
